"The location of this hotel is excellent just a few steps from Puerta del sol. Despite the location in a crowd street we didn't have noisy in the room. The room is big if you compare to others in Europe. The beds are ok and they have a very good shower. I think the AC could be improved because it is not cooling enough with the heat wave we had 2 weeks ago. I didn't see a place to have breakfast but there is a Starbucks nearby where I got it. I would stay again in this hotel."

"We stayed at this hotel just for one night in May 2023 and we chose it as it was quite affordable and the location. Check in was a bit slow as there was just one counter and a few people in front of us. We got room 104 and the room was decent in size. The room was quite basic with a queen-size bed and a single bed, a small flat screen TV on the wall, view to a inner courtyard and a wardrobe with quite a few hangers. The bathroom was old school with tiles on the floor and walls – and a shower with a curtain. The shower worked but I don’t like the shower curtain solution – it both clings to the body and it does not prevent water from splashing everywhere. The towels were not that great – quite small and for some reason they did not soak up the water when using them to dry. The soundproofing in the hotel was questionable with lots of noises from rooms nearby. There is a common area with some chairs and sofas and with a couple of vending machines. The best part about the hotel is of course the location! It takes 1 minute to walk to Puerta del Sol and the metro station there! All in all, this is a hotel in need of renovation and an upgrade. The hotel was affordable compared to many other hotels in the city center but if I travel to Madrid again and are going to stay for a few days, I will probably pay a bit more and get a better hotel experience."
