"We slept in a bathroom.\nWe stayed at this “hotel” for 4 nights — and it was one of the worst travel experiences we've ever had.\n\nProblems started even before we arrived. After booking, we saw a growing number of concerning reviews saying the place didn’t exist, people couldn’t get in, there was no water, and nobody was answering the phone. I messaged the property, and they reassured me everything was fine and that they would open in April. But when I followed up with more specific questions — they ignored my message completely.\n\nOne day before arrival, I contacted Booking.com support, explained the situation, and they reached out to the hotel. The hotel confirmed the reservation to Booking.com, but once again didn’t send me anything directly.\n\nOn the day of check-in, we found the place — but the door was locked with a code lock. We knocked for a long time. Eventually, a woman (apparently a cleaner) opened the door and told us we couldn’t check in before 3:00 PM and that we should’ve received a code via message. Of course, we hadn’t received anything. There is no reception, and the only people working there are Spanish-speaking cleaners who don’t speak English.\n\nWe left and came back at 2:30 PM. It had started raining. The cleaners kindly let us wait inside the corridor (thank you for that). Still no message. We asked again why we hadn’t received anything — they were surprised and said, “That’s strange, the code is usually sent to everyone.” I tried calling the property — no answer on one number, and the other was simply turned off. Finally, the cleaners managed to contact the owner themselves, and only then did we receive the code. This whole situation was extremely stressful and completely avoidable.\n\nNow the room itself — and this is where things go from bad to absurd.\nThe room is literally a bathroom with a bed inside. It’s so small that two people can’t even move around freely. The floor is tiled and freezing cold. The toilet is right next to the bed, separated only by a thin glass door — not soundproof, not airtight. Probably designed to “strengthen the bond” between couples by forcing them to hear and smell each other.\nThe room is extremely humid, especially after using the shower. Cold drafts come through the window, so we ended up sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed.\nThere is no soundproofing — you can hear everything from the hallway.\nThe bed is terribly uncomfortable — we both had back pain after every night.\nThere are no amenities: no dishes, no hairdryer (unless you ask the cleaners), and the towels are tiny, barely enough to dry your face.\nNobody came to clean the room, change towels, or replace the bed linens. We had to take the trash out ourselves.\n\nHere’s a list of things that were advertised but NOT available:\n\n1. Dining area, seating area — There is no place to sit, at all.\n\n2. Hairdryer — Only available if you ask the cleaners.\n\n3. Kitchen — There is no kitchen. Just a storage area. The fridge was unplugged, and there was no kettle, no microwave, no stove, no dishwasher — nothing. We received some dishes only after explicitly asking for them.\nAlso, this “kitchen” is closed after the cleaners leave, so it’s not accessible at all in the evenings.\n\n4. 15 m² of space — This room is maybe 8 m² at best.\n\n5. Reception — Doesn’t exist.\n\n6. Work desk — Not present.\n\n7. Kettle, microwave, fridge — None of these were available or working.\n\nBottom line:\nWe literally slept in what felt like a badly converted bathroom. Stressful check-in, no communication, zero comfort. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.\n\nWe reported all of these issues to Booking.com support, and they partially refunded us for the stay.\nAlso, be aware: this property appears to operate under another name/account — Casa el Viso and Boutique Hotel Oquendo. Be careful when booking."

"My experience was horrible. Two days of stifling heat in an attic space, with no space, no air conditioning. I had to shower with cold water because the regulator was broken and wouldn't warm it up. No shower screen or shower curtain, the entire floor was flooded and slippery. No hook to hang towels, no closet to hang clothes, and no glass to rinse my mouth. I couldn't get any rest because the heat and the noise of the fan were unbearable.\nThey charged me €120 for two nights. A huge scam."
