Hotel Sorli Emocions

"We wanted somewhere outside of Barcelona, and this appeared to be a good option. However the hotel is quite isolated, and you need a car to get about, as the bus system is hit and miss. There is very little choice close by to eat. The Marina and town are a bus ride away, and not picturesque. If you go up town there is a little bit of choice, but quite often they are closed, and you need to be physically fit as it involves a lot of walking up hill. The rooms are a good size, and bedding and towels are changed on a daily basis. However the rooms could do with a good deep clean. They are very dusty. Our room suffered with Ants. The staff were quick to deal with them, but they did keep coming back. The breakfasts here are fantastic, with a good choice. Even catering for gluten free guests. However, there was a constant lack of clean bowls, spoons. Not enough staff on at breakfast, and staff doing more than one job. A coffee/tea machine would have helped. The men on reception were very helpful, especially David who gave us lots of helpful information. The pool area needs a full refurbishment. Lots of Ants about. Sun beds were old, dirty and uncomfortable. Furnishings around the pool had seen better days. The views from it were lovely on most sides, but on one side the area could do with a good tidy up.\nOn an evening staff were very helpful, and catered to your needs as much as they could. All in all this is a nice hotel, but you need a car to get about. However, not sure I would rate it as 4 star."

"I’m only giving this 4 stars because my shower was clogged ): but other than that my stay was PERFECT!!!! The sheets are so buttery soft! I usually have a hard time sleeping in beds that aren’t mine, but sleeping here felt easy. The lobby also smells soooo nice ! The staff are so friendly , and one young man working there was so nice to hand me a bus schedule. The hotel is located just 5 minutes from the bus stop ( that can take you to Barcelona ) and is just a 30-40 minute walk from the beach (Premià de mar ) ! Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and The bedroom is so spacious and you have to try the breakfast in bed !! It’s sooooo elegant! My shower was huge and the bathroom towels they give are so massive and sof!! The mini balcony is also a nice touch too! I’m going to miss this hotel so much. If you’re hungry I recommend pizza a punt! Or dry well if you want drinks! The food options are all walkable or you can take the bus"

"Quiet, comfortable, clean hotel with friendly staff. Lacking tea making facilities in the room, we had to go and buy a kettle and mugs. Breakfast is ok if your ok with continental ( not for me ). Realy need a car if you want to get around although busses were of good service"
