Hesperia Barcelona Barri Gòtic

"We had a wonderful stay in this 3-star hotel, perfectly located in the Gothic area of Barcelona, very close to El Born and not far from the beach. The location is ideal, with plenty of restaurants and food options all around.\n\nThe hotel itself is very clean, and from the entrance to the rooms you are welcomed with a pleasant perfume that gives a fresh feeling. Our superior room (303) was well equipped and very comfortable, with a cozy bed, efficient AC, and a large clean bathroom. The room had everything we could need: shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrush, a coffee machine, boiler with tea bags, safe, iron, TV, shoe cloth, and even a wine bottle opener.\n\nWe especially enjoyed the lovely small balcony for two, with chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing. The hotel also offers a floor with a gym and meeting space. At the reception, there is a small welcoming area with free coffee, tea, and candies — a really nice touch. Security felt excellent throughout our stay.\n\nA big thank you to the staff for their professionalism and warm hospitality, with special thanks to Karla for making our stay even better.\n\nThe only small detail we noticed was the absence of a minibar in the room, but this was not an issue at all since the room temperature was perfect.\n\nOverall, a great 3-star hotel with excellent service, location, and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Barcelona!\n\nWe hope to come back soon!"

"Great location. GREAT friendly staff. Room was nice. The bathroom doors need to be rethought though. You can see right through them. Sharing a room with my mom and adult son we had to put a towel over the door or shower or use the bathroom in the dark because if the weird door issue. Privacidad film would be helpful."

"The location is great, close to several top rated tapas restaurants.\nThe rooms are super small but clean. There is a little bit of noise but I was able to sleep through it without issues.\nThe breakfast was disappointing: coffee machine and gas station donut/muffin. I don’t think you can list THAT as breakfast, let alone ask anyone to pay a dime for it."
