"An excellent Hotel in the middle of the city. The room was nice and as quiet as any hotel room I have been in. The breakfast was good and a great way to start the day.\n\nThe staff were helpful and gave useful advice when asked. They even offered to go through all of the dirty towels when my girlfriend thought she had lost one she brought with her. (We found it in her pack before they started.)\n\nWe were within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit and see. This was an ideal location for visiting the city and will certainly stay here the next time I find myself in Barcelona."

"The worst hotel I’ve ever stay – scam and false 3-star rating\n\nThis place is a disgrace and should not be allowed to operate under a 3-star label. My stay at BYPILLOW Mothern was a complete nightmare. I booked 3 nights via Booking.com and had to leave after just one night because the conditions were absolutely unacceptable. I had to pay over 300 € more for a last-minute hotel just to find a place where I could actually sleep.\n\nThe room was extremely dirty. Thick layers of dust everywhere. I had to clean the bathroom mirror myself just to use it.\n\nNo closet, no storage, no space. I had to keep my suitcase on the floor the whole time – the room is so small and poorly arranged it felt like a cheap hostel.\n\nThe AC was completely broken, making the room hot, humid, and suffocating. Sleeping was impossible.\n\nThe noise was insane:\n\nVibrations from the metro under the building, shaking the furniture.\n\nConstant traffic and garbage trucks outside all night.\n\nZero soundproofing – I could hear every word from the people in the next room, including their conversations in the shower.\n\nThe hotel looks nothing like the photos. On Booking.com, everything looks white, clean and fresh. In reality, it’s dark, depressing, dirty, and outdated.\n\nWhen I went to the reception to complain and asked for a refund, they said they couldn’t do anything and told me to "send an email." No help at all.\n\nTo make it worse, they charged me city tax for nights I didn’t stay – which is completely illegal.\n\nBooking.com refuses to help, blaming a “third-party partner” even though I paid directly through their platform. So now I’m left with a ruined experience, wasted money, and no support.\n\nThis hotel is not a 3-star by any standard. It’s a dirty, noisy, cramped, poorly maintained place with misleading photos and a fake rating.\nIt’s not just disappointing – it’s fraudulent.\n\nAvoid it at all costs. I wish I had never booked this hotel."

"Terrible experience – never coming back!\n\nWe arrived on the evening of April 6th, and I was extremely tired after a long drive. I just wanted a normal rest, but the first room we were given was a nightmare. It was extremely noisy from outside — sleeping was impossible. The air conditioner didn’t work, and the room was unbearably hot. The bathroom was dirty, with strange white stains on the walls, and mold was present throughout. When taking a shower, the water didn’t drain properly and flooded the bathroom.\n\nI couldn’t sleep until 5 AM and had to be up by 8 AM. Only at 5 in the morning were we moved to another room. It was slightly better, but I was already exhausted and irritated for the entire day.\n\nThe second room was larger, but in even worse condition. The bathroom was full of mold, the toilet and tub were dirty, and water still didn’t drain properly in the shower. There were dirty white marks on the walls, and mold could be seen in many places, including the main room. The air conditioning still didn’t work, and the noise from the hallway and other rooms was constant — we could hear everything, including cleaning staff blasting music.\n\nEven the iron they gave me was dirty and could easily ruin clothes. We had no time to look for another hotel during our trip, so we were stuck here. But I will never come back — this place should not be listed on Booking!"
