"We stayed there for one week. The host is a very nice person, very welcoming and explaining all the questions we had. The apartment is in a very good area, close to parks and walking distance from many landmarks and attractions. We barely used the metro. Barcelona is a brilliant place for walking especially if you have little kids, as we do. There is an elevator in the building, central heating, all the amenities to cook and eat homemade meals. For me the only thing that "ruined" it was the cleaning. The apartment should be much cleaner. The sink in the toilet was not draining the water, causing a very dirty sight of it, even when washing hands; we wanted to use the washer/dryer, but it was not clean (full of remains from other users before, like hair, etc), these are all things that lower the value of the apartment, and don't do it justice; however we did get a good price for it, considering the location. I think I am fair in saying that I would be willing to stay there again if it was cleaner."

"Our family of four( 2 adults and 2 3-year olds) stayed in Serennia apartment building at the end of November. The location is great. Coffee shop, small cafe with drinks, 3 supermarkets and pharmacy are all a minute away. 5 minutes from subway. Very close to attractions. The building has an elevator.\nI knew that i booked a budget option when i chose the price but expected something better. Apartment is small. Efficient Ikea style and furniture. Everything is pretty old and falling apart. Door handles stay in your hand, towel hanger is crooked and broken, microwave plastic frame literally fell on my head. Bathroom walls look super old and dirty. Artificial flowers in the bathroom look dirty and at least 10 year old. Floors are also dirty. My kids are small and crowl under beds while playing so they would get up from the floor all dusty and dirty. We couldn't sleep together as their big bed was 2 separate twins that wouldn't stay together. The second bedroom is small and you cant close the door when you use 2 beds there. My husband was walking around the first couple of days trying to fix things but then he gave up. We told the check in guy some of the problems, they thanked us and it ended up at that.\nApartment has safe box, basic kit with shower gel, shampoo, 1 dishwasher pod and 1 laundry pod, dishwasher liquid(small bottle), iron, old hair dryer, towels, safe box. They say that they have washer dryer but they only have washer. You use hanger rack to dry clothes.\n\nWe lived in the place for 10 days and got used to all imperfections but they should really invest some money into maintenance. And i do prefer clean over fancy but that wasn't it."

"HIGH THEFT & SAFETY RISK: Came back to the unit, and had all of our passports stolen! Multiple units were broken into the same night in a coordinated fashion. After the fact, staff tells us it's easy to break in by popping the lock. This information was not passed on to us in a timely manner. On top of that staff explicitly told us to not use the safe. My wife is now terrified. Thanks for the stay!"
