Turim Luxe Hotel

"If you are searching for a simple "bed" for the night, this hotel will fit the bill. The rooms are small, but very clean. Desk service was great.\nCentral location.\nBe ware! Parking is not available at the hotel, you must find a parkade or a spot (metered during the day) on the street. Our spot ended up being one and a half blocks away."

"My husband and I stayed here while we were visiting Lisbon and were quite disappointed.\nThe good: staff were helpful and great. We were checked in quickly even after a large tour group arrived. Location is about a 10 min Uber ride to the center.\nThe bad: We were asked to put down a 50 euro deposit in case we consumed anything from the mini fridge. That was weird but we did it anyways as it was refundable.\nWe were given room 101 which is on the first floor right next to the elevator. At first glance, the the room looked okay. We didn't expect anything fancy but we did not expect it to be bad. The walls had stains and had some peeling.\nOur pillow cases had drops of blood stained on them and we asked reception to come change them which they did promptly.\nWe found a small bug in our shower two nights in a row. For some reason, the elevator music plays in our room and although we can turn it off, I'm not sure why it exists in the first place.\nWifi barely worked and it took us having to go to reception twice to have it barely work in our room. (thank you to the staff member that helped us, we know its not your fault).\nThe shower, like most hotels in Europe was quite small, and water spills out of the shower no matter how hard you try.\nTowels had a weird smell to them so we just ended up using our own and used the hotel towels to soak up the water from the shower.\nThe area surrounding the hotel was not nice either.\nOverall, the stay was quite disappointing. Luckily our daily itinerary was quite full so we didn't have to be in the room too much. Our room was basically an old room with a modern looking bed and bed frame placed in it."

"Passable for one night only. The room cost does not reflect the received value.\nThe rooms are small. Japan room sizing without the fancy toilets.\nHave to leave a deposit for the mini bar. The deposit is not returned at departure. Guests have to wait days for the charge to be reimbursed. Do away with the mini bar from the 80's era."
