"Great hotel, Good distance from different metro stops , so getting in and out of the city never felt like a big deal. The room was good and bathroom was well equipped. There was always a nice feeling about the hotel and the staff are a credit to this hotel. All of them were friendly and welcoming and always happy to help. The roof terrace and pool are just a jem and the perfect place to retreat after a long day around the city. Although small it felt like a hidden retreat. Honestly this hotel is a credit to chain. We really felt safe and most importantly welcomed every time we returned. Additionally check out being at 12pm and baggage drop off are cherries on to of a already great cake."

"The Moxy Lisbon City is trying very hard to be hip and trendy—so much so that it feels like stepping into a time capsule of the past decade’s Instagram aesthetic. If you’re into neon signs, mood lighting, and a lobby that feels more like a nightclub, you’ll feel right at home. For us, it was just a little too vibey.\n\nOur room was clean, but definitely showing signs of wear. Some walls were crying out for a fresh coat of paint, there was a badly filled hole in the door, and the security chain had been pulled straight out of one of the screw holes (not that we felt unsafe—Lisbon itself feels very secure). The bathroom was spotless and the shower was lovely, but the toilet serenaded us all night with a steady drip.\n\nThe car park was… an adventure. Imagine a circular ramp so tight it took ten two-point turns to get down a single level. Not for the faint of heart—or anyone who values their car’s paintwork. At €15 per night, it’s a bit much for the privilege of this driving challenge, though we’ll give them credit: the car did survive unscathed.\n\nWe only visited the downstairs bar once. It took 15 minutes to get to the front of the queue, and another 35 minutes for drinks and nachos to appear. We’re still not sure if they were growing the corn and brewing the beer from scratch, but we admire the commitment to slow food.\n\nThe neighbourhood is pleasant and safe, and the location isn’t bad at all. Overall, though, the vibe felt more “student party hostel” than “modern city hotel,” and just wasn’t quite our scene"

"I originally booked just one night at Moxy Lisbon City, but ended up staying an extra day — all because of the incredible service. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. They were upbeat, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed — whether it was local recommendations, a late check-out, or just great conversation at the bar.\n\nThe vibe of the hotel is modern and fun, with comfortable rooms and a lively atmosphere, but what really set it apart for me was how I was treated. It’s rare to find a place where the energy of the team makes you want to change your plans — but that’s exactly what happened here. Can’t wait to come back!"
