Hotel Roma

"Three stars thanks to the receptionist. During the check in procedure he overcharged me. Instead of 12€ for city tax for three persons for one night, he charged 32€ without any hesitation. Later on when I realised it's too much I went down to the reception desk and told him that. Ok nobody is perfect we all make mistakes( although I think he did on purpose) , he did a refund straight away but what disappointed me was not even sorry nothing, very rude. Apart from this experience everything was perfect. We went for lunch as well, there was a buffet for starters and desserts and you can order the main course for an additional 3€.\nFood was delicious and the waitresses were very polite and attentive. Top class. The room is quite spacious with a balcony, the bathroom is a bit small but no issues. Our stay was great. Thank you. Could recommend"

"I came to the hotel early am of the day I was to check in. I was told I would be able to get my room by 15:00. It wasn't until almost 16:00by the time it was ready, making my day long after traveling for 22 hours. Food was good, as was the service. The room was spacious and clean/comfortable. The bidet was too close to the tub/shower.\nOverall, a very nice experience."

"Currently staying June 4-6 at this hotel the quality of the service is a one star when I first arrived the exterior concern me it’s in poor shape. The lobby is nice. The rooms are clean, but that’s the only thing there’s some type of mold in the room that I’m currently staying in I am sick and asked for another room. All they could give me is the same room type we asked for tissues or Kleenex that they didn’t know what that was. That’s OK we’re in Portugal I understand but tissues they don’t have any asked if we could fill up our water bottles no use tap water or buy water at the bar, there no ice machine I asked for some ice they gave me 2 little cup of ice. There’s no face cloths but then again that’s Europe. I work at a Hilton Brand, Hotel and this kind of service would not be allowed. I’m a front desk agent and when a guest ask for something we get it I asked for cutlery and they told me to get at the bars, at my hotel we would go get it for our guest, the agents at this desk there’s usually four people there only two people doing something. The other two people are just standing there blank looks on their face. This is the worst hotel. I’ve ever say at. front desk staff are not very friendly. We are doing the hop on hop off bus asked where pick up was the girl at the front desk give us incorrect directions not at all happy!!!!!!!!"
