"My second time on this place, honest comfort food. The first time I had the seabass on the second time I have the sea bream with salad on the side the fish was hot juicy well-seasoned just the way I like it. The salad was well season maybe a little bit over-powering. probably needs a bit more careful there was a lot of lettuce steams in my salad but overall great flavor honest well priced. what else can I say? The dessert, homemade chocolate mousse, with a slight orange aftertaste, just great."

"The bed was ok, I slept very well, its my positive impression.\nMy room was very spartan, OK it is a pension, but a small refrigerator could fit in. There was zero option to have a meal, not even a chocolate. No breakfast, no other meals.\nThe floor - old, wooden copy - is extremely old and is cracked all over.\nThere were no extra blankets, night had only 13 degrees so it had been nice with a blanket, however, the staff gave me a blanket after I asked the next morning.\nThe shower cabin was the smallest I ever used, 60x60cm. Even though there is enough space to install a larger cabin so even a normal man can enjoy e descent shower (forget this if you are overweighted, you have no possibility to enter the cabin). There were only one bed lamp and the room had only one free power outlet.\nA small desk with a chair would have been great.\nThe entrance stair is really dangerous, its very easy to slip and get injured.\nThe door had a slit of about 2-3 mm which meant that cigarette smoke was sucked in from the street, up via the entrance, further through the corridor and into my room which was furthest away from the entrance.\nTerrible.\nThe traffic - just 2 meter distance from the building - was sometimes extremely disturbing with strong noise from bikes and commuting buses.\nThe best was that the parking was just beside the pension.\nMost stores in surrounding areas do not accept credit cards so prepare yourself with a bunch of Euros.\nNote: It is not a hotel, its a pension."

"This is a typical restaurant, with very traditional Portuguese food, at very affordable prices, decorated with old photos of the Town.\nThe owner has this Restaurant, a little "pensão" (like a simple hotel) above this Restaurant, and also a Bar in the main Avenida dos Pescadores in Montijo (Avenida. of the Fishermen), which seems to be popular amongst locals and visitors alike.\nMontijo is known for its traditional countryside values, with its bulfights, pig farms, etc... Nowadays the Mayor promotes several festivals throuhout the year, from Medieval exhibitions, to the really well known "Festas do Montijo", a whole week of partying around the 29th of June, Day of St Pedro, with funfairs and the highlight being bulls released on the streets every day, for the famcy of the "aficionados"!"
