"I have been here 3 times (2012 (hotel had just opened their doors), 2015 (lift was installed) and 2018) now and I was pleasantly surprised with my room in 2018. They have renovated the hotel massively and it is even better than it was, where I had the luxury of an own big bathroom. You can use the kitchen to cook yourself, if you don't want to go out for dinner (the owners/employees can come up with good recommendations), but you have to know you share it with the other people on your floor. You're located quite in the middle of the touristic part of the city, with the stations Cais de Sodre and Rossio nearby (and even the intercity-station Santa Apolónia can be reached by direct metro). I can honestly say that this place feels like a 2nd home to me.\n\nIf I remember it correctly, they don't do breakfasts anymore, since you have multiple bakeries and such in the area. I went to my favorite spot, which is only 2 minutes of walking down the road if you're slow: Chiado Caffe."

"Had an absolutely amazing stay. The host(s) are very friendly, the location is absolutely fantastic: in the main street of the best area with a lot of bars and restaurants around. But no worries: you can't hear any street sound when you're in the apartment. The apartment itself is also great: spacious, clean and great beds. I would definitely recommend staying here, it's perfect!"

"We stayed here for 5 nights and loved the value. The location is incredible for getting around the city, yet it is not in the areas that feel inauthentic. So many restaurants and bars right around, with the a main station a short trip away.\nThe service was amazing, always offering more towels, and suggestions of places to go if you’d like. There is a lift, which is great after climbing the hills of the city. He was kind and offered to store our luggage and was not a stickler for checking out. Would recommend for the price!"
