"I stayed here for 5 nights on my trip to Tokyo in June! The hotel is close to two metro lines, walkable distance to the Tokyo Dome, and 2 stations away from Akihabara. It’s not on a busy street but rather a block in which makes the location quaint and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, even when some didn’t speak English. There are lots of amenities you can take from the 1st floor, and the rooms included a fridge, microwave, and washer/dryer + detergent, which made everything very convenient. My only complaint is that the room I stayed in had a lingering cigarette smell ever since I entered, even though I don’t smoke. It’s not strong by any means, but definitely present if I inhale strongly. It could be lingering on the walls/furniture, but I’m not sure. Otherwise, the amenities are great, location is convenient, and was perfect for 1 person."

"We stayed here on our last night in Japan and wished we had stayed here earlier in the trip. This hotel includes an in-room washer/dryer machine with detergent included. A big plus for travelers who don't want to bring a lot of clothes or tote around large luggage. I looked at a lot of hotels when planning this trip, and this hotel checked the boxes for location, price, restaurants close by, proximity to more than one subway line, and lastly, hotel amenities. The staff was nice, and the rooms were clean, which made it a good choice in my mind."

"All of my positive feelings after an enjoyable day in Tokyo were completely ruined by my night at Tokyu Stay Suidobashi.\n\nThis hotel destroys any possible positive expectations regarding service and room cleanliness.\n\nThe cost performance couldn’t be worse.\n\nAlthough the rooms are equipped with a microwave, a small IH cooktop with a pot, a fridge with a freezer, a dishwasher sink, and even a washing machine/dryer with detergent, the negatives instantly outweigh these perks:\n• Guests who opt for breakfast have to pick up their food from the lobby, bring it to their rooms, heat it up, and eat there. What?! This is the first time I’ve encountered such a bizarre hotel breakfast setup. Come on, guys—COVID times are over!\nBTW, compared to other business hotels in Tokyo, the food quality here is abysmal.\n• The dirty carpet, dusty surfaces, and grimy air cleaner (humidifier) are disgusting.\n• No tissues (napkins) in the room. Guests are somehow expected to know this in advance and request them at the front desk.\n• No large-sized pajamas. They claimed they ran out of L size—at 7 PM?! That sounds like total BS.\n\nGiving two stars—one for the location (which is subjective) and one for the household appliances. Otherwise, even a negative five-star rating would be too generous for the price they charge."
