"Very, very adequate space and in a nice area of Tokyo. There was a beautiful shrine nearby and a lovely park. Granted, I have not seen much of Tokyo, but we were very pleased with the Tei.\nCheck-in was totally impersonal. We arrived late, and it was very easy to do with their automated system. No problem getting key from key box and into room. There were 3 of us. Three beds. Very comfy. AC was quite nice. The bathroom was very small, the shower was great because the water temperature was nicely adjustable and the water pressure was amazing!! There was a very nice soap and shampoo and conditioner provided. All in all, highly recommended!"

"The room is slightly bigger than most big chain hotels in Tokyo. It was more like a boarding house than a hotel but was super comfortable. The location is a bit far from Tokyo must go places but still reachable with metro and a bit of walk. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. “More Than” bakery is a must try if you were to stay in this hotel."

"We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Unfortunately, the name "hotel" is a significant overstatement. We never saw the staff, and even for automated check-in, there was no one to assist in case of issues. There is no elevator, and the stairway is narrow. It seems more like a hostel, which would be a much more appropriate name.\n\nThe room was very small, and moving around meant constantly bumping into each other. The bathroom and toilet were so cramped that you had to be careful about how to sit to use them. The toilet buttons were broken, and there was no water flash .\n\nThe bed was described as a twin, but it was just two mattresses pushed together, making it very uncomfortable for two people to sleep on.\n\nOverall, there was nothing satisfactory about this place, except for the view of the alley that led to tall towers. Even three stars is too generous for such a place."
