Tokio’s Hotel

"The location is probably the best thing about this hotel. It's right next to Oji Station and Tokyo-Metro Namboku line.\n\nYou have nearby konbinis all around you along with some 24hr restaurants.\n\nThe 3rd floor single room is spacious. I went during winter, but I turned the AC on and the room immediately smelled like second hand smoke from cigarettes so there definitely is a ventilation issue in my room. The cigarette smell was in the air ducts.\n\nThe room was fine, but the walls were definitely not new. The walls were thin, you can hear other guests take the elevator, walking down the hall, and microwaving their meals. The bathroom was small but expected. The\nventilation in the bathroom had to be kept running 24/7 and there definitely is a slight sewage smell that happens once a day. It was livable. The hot water runs very well!\n\nThe hotel has a sauna, it's decent but did not have a hot water tub.\n\nI wouldn't stay here with a family, but this place was definitely acceptable for a solo-traveler who needs privacy instead of staying around capsule hotels. Late check out is great! 1pm.\n\nThe laundry service is pretty cool. Sometimes you have to wait for some people to finish their loads which is 3hrs Minimum. Sometimes guests forget so you can take their clothes out of the machine and leave them in baskets above. The machine washes AND air drys but you have to pick and choose the right setting. It will take 3 hours minimum for every load and even after drying, be prepared to let some items air dry in your room."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel!\nThe self-check-in system was easy to use and very efficient, saving me time during arrival. For those unfamiliar with self-check-in, there’s no need to worry, cuz friendly staff are always available and ready to assist with any questions or issues.\nThe room was spotlessly clean, well-organized, and very comfortable.\nThe location couldn’t be better, as it’s just a short walk from the oji train station, making it perfect for travelers.\nBooking through the app offered great savings, making the stay even more affordable.\nOverall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and great value!"

"Rooms are spacious but definitely not new. Location is not very central but near to station. Toilet is really small and sometimes can smell something stinky.\nSurrounding has lots of eateries and convenience stores.\nIt’s definitely on the affordable side and everything is DIY with simple breakfast and a sauna for men only."
