"Good hotel. It is a little older hotel but that has its advantage as rooms are bigger. The rooms have been remodeled and bathrooms are good sized. The lobby and facilities are nice. The breakfast options were good. The air-conditioning must be a water circulation system as the room temp would not go below 22C even if the thermostat was set at 18C. There is a nice garden behind the hotel that actually connects to another Grand Prince hotel."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel during our time in Tokyo and would recommend it to travelers looking for comfort and quality.\n\nThe room was spacious, beautifully designed, with a stunning view over the city. The bed was large and incredibly comfortable, and we really appreciated the bathtub and generous storage space — something that’s not always easy to find in Tokyo hotels. The hotel itself is elegant, with a beautiful exterior and a welcoming reception area.\n\nThat said, there are a few points worth noting:\n\nThe cleanliness could be improved — it wasn’t terrible, but we did notice dust under the bed and on the shelves, which was a bit disappointing considering the otherwise high standard.\n\nThe hotel is quite far from more interesting neighborhoods and public transportation, and to reach it you have to walk uphill, which becomes tiring after a long day of walking.\n\nIt’s also a bit of a hassle to find the hotel entrance, as there are three hotels from the same group with very similar names nearby. Most of the main signs and directions seem to lead to the other two, which caused quite a bit of confusion when we arrived (Grand Prince Sakura and Grand Prince Shin Takanawa).\n\nOverall, this was a very good stay and the comfort of the room alone made it worth it — but a few practical aspects could definitely be improved."

"This hotel was a fantastic stay for me and my family. First the garden and hotel grounds are worth it and impressed my parents and let them know we’re in Japan. And the dining and drink options are top notch we tried the lounge, buffet, and tempura restaurant which were all fantastic. It’s true that the rooms are dated but I dunno it was kind of a time capsule vibe for me along with the peaceful grounds. Then the location it’s across the street from Shinagawa station or you can get a GO taxi in minutes. I think it was worth every yen I paid and I would gladly go back!"
