"Currently having to stay in the room, as there is no receptionist over night.\n\nYesterday I reported the toilet was blocked and had not flushed properly since our arrival and they fixed it that night with a plunger but did not check it beyond that.\n\nOnce again it has blocked up, water has over-spilled onto the bathroom floor, now the whole room smells and I am stuck.\n\nThey have a card saying to contact them via an app, but no one answers.\n\nI have never stayed somewhere so appalling."

"The hotel location is quite difficult to find, but Google Maps can still be relied upon. Check-in hours are also limited, as the staff is only available during check-in time, making early check-in impossible. However, the service is quite good, as the staff escorted us to the room and provided all the necessary information about the door lock, AC, futon, and other details. The building and furnishings in the room are very old but still well-maintained. The room is extremely small and has a lot of dust. The bed is a traditional Japanese futon placed on a tatami mat, which tends to collect even more dust."

"So, overall it's a great deal. There were three of us staying for three days which came out to a little less than 400 dollars CAD. So, 135 per person or 44 dollars per day.\n\nThe room is more on the traditional side with futons to sleep on. This doesn't leave a whole lot of room for hanging out but there is seating in the lobby. Also, if you are coming to Japan just to hang out in your room I must ask what is wrong with you?\n\nThe air conditioner is beat up but it works, which is all I care about. The room was clean. The staff left new towels each day. The bathroom is small and a part jutting out of the wall means you do need to watch your head. Toilet has a heated seat.\n\nIt is about 10 minutes from the station and about a 2 minute walk from four different convenience stores.\n\nThe only recommendation for the staff is that they do have a bit of space under the TV stand. They could provide a zaisu as trying to lean against a pile of futon is not a good back rest."
