"Not far from Tabata station, the receptionist kinda confused at first because we were with the 3y old children (we book for 3adults & 1 child) but then they allowed us to checked in. The room was just right for all of us. The area is quiet"

"When we arrived the person at reception was very confused about our reservation. He was looking for a while and we were worried they lost our booking and that we would have to find somewhere else to stay. Eventually he sorted it out and we got the room we booked for.\n\nThe worst thing about our room was the smell in the bathroom. It was really bad, very pungent and lingering. It was difficult to get things done in there and would have preferred going to a public toilet. Airing it out helped a little, but it badly needs some ventilation.\n\nOur room also smelled faintly of cigarette smoke, even though it was non-smoking. Beds were so hard it hurt my hips trying to sleep on my side. We were also told that the tap water in the toilet is NOT drinkable, so had to buy our own water at the nearby Family Mart. The two closest stations are both 10-15 min away by foot. Not unreasonable but it does feel cumbersome especially if you have luggage.\n\nWorst stay of our trip. Not worth the price. Absolutely do not recommend."
