"I stayed here for 2 nights. I booked a room that was listed as having a safe, which it didn't. The mattress didn't have any fitted sheet on it either. Personally, I find this to be sanitarily disfactory as I don't want my skin coming into direct contact with a mattress that countless others have used before me. The bed is likely also a 10+ year old spring mattress that is incredibly firm and uncomfortable in my opinion. For this price, I expected better.\n\nBeing the reasonable person I am, I brought this to the front desk to give them a chance to address my concerns. They told me none of the rooms actually have safes in them. The question is why, then, are they advertised as having them? Secondly, they said that the entire hotel doesn't stock fitted sheets whatsoever, and there are no better rooms I can swap into for a good night's sleep. They took zero ownership and basically said "deal with it" in less words. Zero solutions provided.\n\nI then brought this up to my booking agent, Agoda, who contacted the hotel on my behalf to seek a resolution or a free cancellation so I could sleep somewhere more comfortable for me. A day later, the hotel LIED to Agoda and told them that I never brought my complaints forward. I implore the hotel to check their cameras for proof of their blatant lies.\n\nI would highly recommend staying here if you want to be lied to and met with zero accountability."

"Its an okay hotel if you're on a budget. It works as a place to stay for the night, the onsen is a nice bonus, and the free breakfast is decent.\n\nOn the other hand the beds are very hard, I can feel the springs very easily, and the room is very small with no good place to open the suitcase other than the dirty area you leave your shoes.\n\nAdditionally I took off points for service because when I entered the hotel I was given a room number and the onsen number and told I could pick 5 amenity items, but then as I was going to the elevator I heard the staff explaining to the next group about the breakfast hours, the time the door locks at night and how to open it, and the checkout time and I wondered why I wasnt given any of this explanation. I believe it was probably because Im a foreigner and the next group was not, but I understand Japanese and communicated with the staff in Japanese. I would have liked it if they had tried to communicate that with me too.\n\nAlso, when I brought up that I thought I lost my bracelet in the lockers, the receptionist was very quick to dismiss me. She may have been genuine that there was nothing found, but she just told me "No we dont have it, nothing has been found." And moved onto the next person in about 30 seconds. It made me feel like she just didn't care to check with anyone and wanted me to leave her alone to take care of the other guests. That bracelet was very cheap, but it had a lot of sentimental value for me."

"Simple but effective hotel.\nStaff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is simple but filling.\nIf you're on a brief visit to Tokyo while traveling around Japan a great place to stay as you can commute around easily from Shinigawa station.\nRooms were a little cramped but the only downside to this hotel."
