"If I could rate the experience as a negative, I probably would. The good: breakfast was tolerable, and the washer and dryer seemed to work fine.\nThe bad: The room is large enough to enter and turn around and leave. We had a queen bed with a twin bunk, however it was not a true twin bed size, it was much smaller. They charged an extra fee for 3 people, even though I could pick the exact same room when 2 was selected.\nWe had to make the top bunk ourselves with sheets. The stairs to the bunk were placed under a dropped part of the ceiling, so when you went up or down you had to do it at an impossible angle or hit your head (which happened).\nThe elevator was so slow, and with so many floors it got crowded quickly.\nThe pillows are heavy, hard sacks of round bean-type things. I have never seen or experienced something so terrible. They have a pillow rental spot because of this, and it was constantly empty so good luck not being stuck laying your head on a sack of rocks.\nThe air conditioner leaked all over our carpet so it was always wet, and the room had a terrible odor.\nWe stayed here 3 nights, and I truly, truly despised it. If we could have gotten our money back, I would have left immediately.\nThey offer to store luggage as well, but be warned it sits right in their lobby with a thin string tied to it - that's all there is to protect it.\nThere was only one onsen, and the hours were split between male and female, which was annoying, and a major flaw I was unaware of when making the booking, as I never was there at a time to enjoy it.\nWe stayed in a few different options throughout our visit in Japan, and none of them were this small or poorly set up.\nThey did give us fresh towels every day, however these also stunk.\n0/10, spend your money elsewhere. I could not stand to be here."

"Rooms were tiny as usual but clean and beds comfortable. No English channels on TV however and a little dated in the room. They give option of complimentary pillows, pyjamas and lots of hygiene essentials if you need them. Free coffee, tea, juices and alcohol with their own times. Breakfast was simple but had enough choices to get you started for the day. You can borrow umbrellas and they even had trousers press. Microwaves in odd numbered floors for convenience, they have an onsen with times for male and female. Quite hotel no road or room noise.\n\nThe best thing about this hotel are the fantastic reception staff, good English and very welcoming. The can help you with alot of things. Location is perfect in between Akihabara and Ueno both in walking distance. Ueno is the Skyliner stop from Narita direct. Then a short 10min walk to the hotel."
