"What makes this place great is the location. Dining options are everywhere and endless. The hotel is a few minutes' walk to sanchome station to get you to wherever you need to go. It’s bigger than the typical accommodations you get in Tokyo, but much of these areas added to the square footage are huge patios to which most areas are unusable. There were 2 of us and we stayed in the 3-bedroom apartment. The third bedroom is more like a partitioned section area in the kitchen with a single bed. The 2 other rooms each had 2 single beds. There is no lock on any of the room door. No safe in the apartment. The apartment has 1 toilet room and 1 shower/tub combo room. There's one small TV (in the entire apartment) in the kitchen that looks like a relic from 20 years ago (strictly Japanese channels). All necessary kitchen appliances and wares are provided if you like to cook. If you don’t read “kanji,” make sure you have google translate because everything is in Japanese writing/labels. Inspect the cups because the first coffee cup I picked up still had a lipstick mark. The second cup I picked up had a hardened coffee ring around a stain at the bottom of the cup. Overall, convenience ruled the day and I would stay here again."

"Okay location. Sadly that’s about it. I smoke cigarettes occasionally but this room had a dizzying smell that made you not want to be there. That was fine because I didn’t plan on it in the first place. The real issue came when I checked out and he saw that there was a second person with me (in a two twin bed room) and mandated that I pay extra because there was a second person. He charged ¥3300 ($22) extra. For a room meant for two people"

"This is a basic Japanese style hotel. Fine for my 2 nights. Very convenient to the Golden Gai area of Shinjuku. Room was small and clean. Difficulty was with everything in Japanese. Even the labels on the TV remote and remote for the AC and heat. There is an info book in the room, but in Japanese. Do they not get any English speaking tourists,I wondered?"
