"I took a single private room with shared bath during cherry blossom season. I had no issues with the stay. They had lots of events for visitors and were very English friendly. Price was reasonable, though book early for best prices. They have a restaurant downstairs that seemed nice, but I never ended up eating there. For the price, I think you might be able to find a room with private bath though. Great location to move around Tokyo. I love the Jimbocho area."

"First of all , it’s hostel not a hotel !!\n\nSecondly , rooms in downstairs are not good. Humidity problem and noise level is high there.\n\nIt’s better to double check which room you are going to stay in advance. So you can cancel etc.\nI don’t know source of noise but it was extremely annoying, feels like machines are working whole night even daytimes. So I didn’t have good sleep:/ and unfortunately it was my first accommodation in Japan. So I didn’t start very well .\n\nI just booked for 2 nights and I was planning to extend if it was good. Since it wasn’t good I just booked somewhere else nearby. So it was easy to move\n\nLocation was good walkable to station. And nice food places nearby . Also near to the imperial palace and parks and museums. So nice location :)\n\nStaff are strict about checking time , I wait in the restaurant part."

"I stayed here recently. While I myself didn't pay for a room, I checked the prices and referenced it with my experience and I would definitely call it worth it. The staff is super nice and the rooms were surprisingly clean! Some of the beds were a bit squeaky, but it didn't really bother me personally. Next time I go to this region of Japan I'd definitely try to stay here again."
