Ryogoku View Hotel

"A nice hotel just walking distance to the train/ subway station. Stayed in a room with a double decker bed for 4 nights. Comfortable and has enough room space for our luggage and stuff. I think this is better than taking a double or twin bed. More personal space with charging ports and bedside lamps. No breakfast provided and they clean up the room daily. Toilet facilities are fully equipped with a bath tub. Check in and check out using the machine and lobby with a staff who will guide you through all the way. Had a pleasant stay here."

"Upon arrival, the staff were really friendly and helped the check-in process run smoothly. The Standard Twin Room was a little small to fit two people plus large luggage in, but it wasn't too pressing of an issue - I'd call the room size 'cozy' more than anything. The amenities and cleaning were standard, so no complaints there. In terms of the price, I believe it was pretty reasonable when split two ways.\nA selling point of the Ryogoku View Hotel has to be it's proximity to the train station. It isn't even a 5 minute walk, it's right across the road! There are also many places to get food nearby."

"Ryogoku View Hotel was our first stop during our trip to Japan. We only stayed for two nights in this hotel but wished we had booked it again for the end of our trip when we were back in Tokyo.\nOut of all of the hotels that we stayed in (in a major area), this one made the most out of the small space. For the two of us, the bed was a perfect size and there was still space for us to store our items and walk around.\nWe didn't know that our room included a balcony, but it did. That was nice because we left the slider open for some air.\n\nThe hotel had plenty of food areas right below and down the streets. Easy access to them all by foot, as well as a train station.\nIf you don't mind a walk, we were able to reach Tokyo Sky Tree on foot and back, too. On the opposite side of the river, there are a lot of famous shopping areas, but we didn't get out there this time.\n\nThe only complaint we could give was that the AC didn't cool the room. We live in a state where 65F is hot during spring, so again, it was nice to have a balcony with a sliding door. At least we had the option.\n\nI would say that this place is fairly quiet. It just depends on the other tourists around you. We had a family on their balcony who was arguing with their child about haircuts and piercings at 4 a.m. (Japan Time). We were up with jetlag too, but not disturbing our neighbors."
