"We had to change rooms because of how dirty it was.\nInstead of having a table and seats, our original room had a sofa that looked like it had been picked up on the side of the road in Queens. Brown and white stains all over. The walls, the sheets and the towels were all stained too. The blinds had lost a few fights and the lamp was dusty and dirty.\n\nThe second room was better but still very disappointing. The blinds were bent there too and the lamp didn't work and looked worse somehow. At least the second room's sheets were clean and it had a table and seats.\n\nYou also can't really order anything to the hotel since they only accept mail that arrives in a 2h window in the morning.\n\nAs we were checking out, a lady that was sleeping in the shared dorms was complaining about there being bugs all over and the hotel not doing anything to fix the problem.\n\nIf you care about the cleanliness of your room, I highly recommend booking elsewhere."

"I chose this hostel because of its location in Shinjuku and the very affordable price.\nThe hostel is well organized and clean, provided the other guests also do their part.\n\nYou can't expect much when it comes to sleep — after all, it’s a hostel.\nI stayed here for three days, and that’s already the maximum for me.\n\nIf you're looking for a cheap place to stay, this is a good choice — but you’ll have to accept some compromises. It’s a hostel, after all. :)"

"The management of this hotel is completely fraudulent. My advice to all tourists is definitely not to stay here. There are cockroaches and bedbugs everywhere in the hotel. We saw the bugs and my friends and I could not sleep for fear of the first night. We also came across another guest who was bitten by bedbugs in dozens of places her body. We reported this to the hotel and they approved our departure before the second day and said they would pay for the last night. However, they did not make any refund. We wrote to Agoda about the situation and now they say they did not say this and asked for evidence about the bugs. I have never seen such nonsense, immoral and unprincipled management in my life. I have experienced many unpleasant situations in Japan. On top of that, such scams really make me sick."
