"This place should not be listed as a hotel. It is simply a room with a bathroom—nothing more. There is no reception, no staff on-site, and absolutely no hotel services. Check-in was a frustrating video call, first with someone who didn’t speak English, then holding up a paper with our room code to the camera. If your phone isn’t working or dies, good luck getting in.\n\nNo fresh towels, no help with adapters (we were told to Google a store), no place to leave luggage after check-out. We ended up paying €35 to store our bags elsewhere for less than two hours.\n\nCalling this a hotel is a joke. It’s a fully self-service room, falsely advertised as a hotel. Had we known the truth, we would never have booked it—especially at this price. A huge disappointment on an otherwise amazing trip."

"It is a “self service” hotel, you receive an email with instructions 1 day before checkin, but the hotel is highly clean and warm. The room of course is small, as most of the Japanese accommodations, but it very comfortable.\nPlease bear in mind they will provide any towels replacements or garbage collected if you call the customer service in the front desk."

"The way this joint is run is an absolute disgrace. My family arrived and fortunately we all had working phones so that atleast one of us could put a code in to get the door opened. While we mucked around with the tablet check in we then had to let in several other foreign nationals who did not understand the system or had lost their code. Then, because we had spent so much time on phone calls back and forward to poor English speaking remote workers, we finally successfully checked in. We then assisted 3 other people with their check in. I have never been so frustrated by what should otherwise be a very simple process. This company is obviously saving costs on reception staff and services."
