"The Hotel is just across the Ryogoku JR station. It takes you directly to Shinjuku, Akhiabara and with 1-2 changes to all major tourist locations in Tokyo.\nJust beside the hotel building is the Ryogoku river centre. This boat takes you near the Sensoji temple.\nThe JR station has a 7/11.\n\nIt's a decent hotel. Rooms are small. Unfortunately we got a smoking room. But it wasn't as bad as we expected it to be.\n\nThe ground floor has a microwave over which was useful.\n\nOverall very good location."

"Firstly, I did not book this room. It was a business trip and they assumed that I wanted a place near a JR station, because I took the Shinkansen into Tokyo. This room is probably the worst hotel room I’ve stayed in my life in Japan. I am fine with business hotels like APA, but the room I stayed in was extremely old, smelled musky, with showa era interior. The towels were so old that it felt like rubbing my skin with sandpaper. Wifi was close to non existent. Lightbulb in my room was not working. Mold everywhere. Bed was crooked. The blanket- god knows how long ago it was washed. Walls are thin and flakey. If it was not because I am out for work all day and only needed a place to sleep, I would’ve left after 5 minutes. I don’t recommend it at all."

"Good clean hotel near JR and Subway station, Next to the JR station has a lot of yummy local restaurants. Some staff are not fluent in English but they try to use google translate.\nHowever this hotel is very close to the railway can hear noise from the train."
