"I bet before covid19 this place is a rating no doubt is cheaper and good location of the old Tokyo business district . 4 minute frm shimshaibashi mrt. it is quite difficult to find this place because is located on the 5th floor of small 2flr shopping arcade which has '70s vibe old school. But it is two shop away from Apal Hotel. The room are quite spacious and the washroom bathroom is a very old school open typical Japanese style which is if you are not familiar with a naked stranger then it is not for you to stay. Remember the main door and lift will close after 10:30 p.m. so you have to walk 5 floor up . the blessing is there plenty of cheap food shop around if you walk to find Matsui fast eat chain. It has logo like soul korean round color or resemble buddhist emblem. Some mini supermarket, fancy cafe n bar as well. Just right next door is the typical '80s cafe era which hasn't changed It's decor I guess it used to be a pub. Serve great cheap bfast set 450yen n lunch. If you walk across the main street it is a 10 minutes to Sumida Riverfront where you could take a break by the shore and watch people passing by over the bridge. It is indeed value for money . It cater more to local who miss the train and need a night stay. It's a good place for a night stay or a twoBecause there is no attraction nearbyThere are no kitchen on this place but hot water and microwave is available and a table"

"OMG what a nightmare- I seriously was shocked by the general state of this ‘hotel’ it was classed as 2 Stars… but should be unclassified. After a long haul flight I really wanted a good nights sleeps .. our holiday tourist agency organized the accommodation… and here we go..\n\nThe hotel was really hard to find .. stuck in back street and on the 5th floor. The room was in terrible condition. The sofa had nothing left when you sat down. The bed was a nightmare I slept in - it was a mattress topper on a single mattress and all the springs poked through the topper - the mattress had scotch tape on it and I woke up with bruises on my hips and legs!"

"Great inexpensive place . Very traditional Japanese living. Great clean rooms . Smoking area is in lobby . It’s on the 5th floor . The only thing is you cannot have a smoke in the lobby past midnight from what I have read on the wall. Bathrooms are not in the room they are down the hall"
