"TL;DR: Don’t book this hotel. On the morning of my arrival, I emailed the hotel asking if we could drop off our bags before checking in. They responded with a different address than the one I had received and booked a room at. We arrived at this new address (which, by the way, was never referenced anywhere online or in previous confirmation emails; at least, as of when I am writing), and found a shady, dirty building located in an unpleasant tourist arcade, far from what we were expecting. Imagine paying your hard-earned money for a room, location, and hotel only to discover that we had been inexplicably relocated to another “hotel.” How suspicious and unprofessional is that? We raised this issue, but the hotel did nothing to accommodate us (they did offer to move us back to the original location after we had carried our heavy suitcases up 5 flights of narrow stairs, expecting us to be happy doing this again). We also never met any of the staff members in person and only communicated via email. I’m still appalled that they would use such shady tactics. The room itself was fine (though it didn’t resemble the one advertised on the website much besides the furniture) but I would completely avoid this hotel and choose an establishment that truly values its customers."

"This was my first time staying at the NO SERVICE HOTEL.\n\nThe room was spacious enough for two adults, and there was plenty of room even when we opened our suitcases. We were able to relax without feeling cramped. The bathroom was also very clean, and the facility was designed for ease of use, so I felt that it was a safe environment, especially for women.\n\nThe room was unified with a 90s-style antique atmosphere, and the record player and each piece of furniture had its own unique character, giving it a nostalgic feel. It has a different charm from inorganic business hotels, and I think it is suitable for those who want to spend a relaxing time. I think there are many elements that foreigners will also like.\n\nThe location is also very good, with a 7-Eleven about 30 seconds away on foot, so you won't have any trouble with sudden shopping. The surrounding area was quiet, so I was able to stay in a relaxing environment.\n\nOverall, it was a very comfortable stay. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely stay again."

"I was aware that the hotel had limited and smart services (self-check-in, no indoor clothes, etc.) when I made my reservation, but I didn't know that towels would not be changed unless I stayed for 3 nights or more, so I was curious about the other side's response.\n\nWhen I returned from sightseeing on the evening of the second day, there were no towels replaced, so I sent them a message and they said they would replace them tomorrow. When I told them that there was no point in checking out tomorrow, they replied, ``They misunderstood that I was staying for 3 nights, so I would not be able to change the towels (the following is omitted).''\n\nIf towel exchange is not applicable for 2 nights, I think it is necessary to state this on the website. My companion also said, ``If I had known that from the beginning, I would have been able to take some unnecessary (unused) towels from home with me.''\nThe fact that they were not informed in advance means that if they had come back in the evening after dinner, they would not have had time to dry their towels.\n\nI think there are quite a few people who stay for two nights...\nI was left feeling uneasy about my stay because I could play records, the interior of the room, and the access were perfect.\n\n[Added R7.04.26]\nI had left a similar comment on Booking.com, but they read it right away, and it seems that a note about towels has been added to the reservation page of the official website ☺︎\nI hope everyone who is going will have an enjoyable stay!"
