Keisei Richmond Hotel Tokyo Kinshicho

"The hotel feels designed for business travellers and then pivoted to tourists. Everything is very clean and organised. The staff are helping, although one or two were a bit "standoffish", maybe not so used to tourists.\n\nThe rooms a nice but small. Booking.com said the room was for a family of three but really was only big enough for two. But this is Tokyo so everything is compact 😄\n\nBreakfast was ok and the staff did well to try to accommodate everyone when it got busy when many families turned up at the same time. She was overworked but coped well.\n\nThe location is good, a short walk to the station which is on JR and subway lines. Plenty of restaurants, though some of the surrounding entertainment is a bit businessman aligned."

"stayed here for 7 nights and it was a great experience! the rooms were definitely larger than other tokyo hotels.\n\nyou can check the laundry status on tv too - very convenient. microwave also available at the common area. you can leave ur luggages for free before ur check in time/after you check out - something not every hotel offers.\n\ni encountered some problems but the service was superb 10/10:\n\n1. the towel was stained on my first night so i called them and they exchanged for me immediately🙏\n\n2. there were 2 washing machines that seemed to be empty but it was locked (?) /showed occupied on the tv - called them if they could do something about it so other people including myself could use the machine and they settled it swiftly + called me back to let me know i can use the machine🙏\n\n3. i lost something in a shop and only realised it when i went back to the hotel; i wanted to call the shop but i didnt have a japanese phone number - i went to the reception to ask if they could help and 伊東 san was so nice to help me call them. she was very patient with me while i was trying to converse with my beginner-level Japanese. as i was leaving japan the next day, she suggested me to email them so the next person taking over the shift the next day can still contact me when im out of the hotel. 松下 san, who was in charge the next day was very kind to call the shop again to check on the item and emailed me back on the status. unfortunately, the item was never found but im very grateful to both 伊東 san and 松下 san for helping me - it wasnt something gravely important (i.e passport or credit cards) that will hinder me from leaving the country, but they still went all out to help me. thank you both. 🙏"

"Great place to stay if you’re wanting to be a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Still plenty to do and works as a relatively central base while you see the rest of the city. Also, the breakfast staff and food is great!"
