"Has to be the worst hotel experience in Japan so far. The location is probably the only good thing, close to 2 metro lines.\nWhen I walked into the room, there was an unpleasant smell. The staff let me change to another room but the smell persisted. The staff said it was the smell from construction which I found odd.\nI rang for an extra pillow and the front desk asked me to choose form soft and hard ones. Then the room service people said they had no pillows to offer. This is very contradictory and hard to believe.\nThink twice before you book."

"My stay here was okay. The rooms are quite small for what you pay for. It’s located in a great location near a subway station and near a lot of restaurants. The family mart being right next door is clutch.\n\nThey could very well improve on the customer service. It’s more expensive to book a room in person than online. Their dryers are slow, so I couldn’t finish my laundry at checkout. When asking could I continue to finish my laundry, they told me I wasn’t allowed upstairs after checking out. So I had to walk around the city with damp clothes to find a laundromat.\n\nBecause of the customer service, I would rather stay in a higher rated hotel than to go back again."

"I'm happy with my stay here. The room is clean and the space is quite big compared to the last 2 stay for my Japan trip. One of the staff is fluent in English and serves well. A cute welcoming note on the table.\nUnfortunately, something happened on the day we checked out. We checked out in the morning, but our flight is at night, so we ask the front desk staff politely, can we store our luggage here and they just point to the area and allow us to park our luggage. Me and my friend choose to split up because we wanna go to different places.\nShe went back to the hotel earlier because her phone battery was dying. She asked the staff where she could borrow a plug to charge. Staff is showing face without saying a word and just pointing at the power port. When I'm back, we unlock the luggage and walk out. They still show their angry unhappy face to us, and I can feel the unwelcoming feel from them. I'm not sure what my friend or I had done that makes them unhappy, but this incident makes me feel sad, and I won't recommend my friends and family to stay here."
