"TLDR\nConvenient stay in Tokyo apartment-style lodgings\n\nRoom/Facilities 4/5\nThe pictures provided on the booking sites are accurate to the room. This is a studio apartment space with dining area, kitchen(ette), bedroom, and bathroom. Full amenities are included (kitchenware, dish soap, toiletries). Laundry is available along with detergent. The unit is well-maintained, clean and gives you a good idea of apartment living in Tokyo. We especially loved the water dispenser that dispensed both cold and boiling water. The only things are that the toilet room is extremely small and the air conditioner doesn’t quite cool down the entirety of the unit although it’s still tolerable in the summer. Because this is located in an apartment building, other residents of the building/people on the street may be smoking outside at times.\n\nLocation 4/5\nThis unit is located within minutes walking of Kitashinagawa station. It’s in a quieter area with several izayakas and restaurants located in the street below. Multiple bus lines are within walking distance. Generally, it’s very convenient to get into Tokyo proper, however, only the local line passes through Kitashinagawa station so there might be a wait after transferring at Shinagawa station if you are using the Yamanote Line to Keikyu Line. Otherwise, Shinagawa station is about a 13 minute walk.\n\nService 5/5\nThe care and attention of the hosts at this property is what makes this experience truly five star. The hosts are extremely attentive and welcoming and are more than happy to provide recommendations and personalized suggestions to anyone visiting Tokyo. They thoroughly explained all the features of the unit and even had a custom map of the neighborhood with recommended restaurants nearby the unit. The hosts helped with carrying luggage and saw us off all the way until our taxi departed. The attention to detail shown by the hosts here rivaled that of five star hotels, and arguably they provided even more customized and personable service."

"Small oasis two flights of stairs up from charming street. Close (a level 100 mtrs) to Kitashinagawa station with 2 minute link to Shinagawa station and Yamanote (circle) line (and Haneda airport in the other direction). Very strategic location away from concrete bustle that is Tokyo. Pics are accurate. Small functional kitchen, good bath/shower arrangement & separate loo with encouraging rainwater sounds(!). Friendly, helpful staff from next door guesthouse (who run the accommodation). Terrific Izakaya in the basement next door. Had a great stay, highly recommended."

"This place was so nice, convenient, friendly not would I stay there again… I just booked it again for later this summer.\nThere is a couple flights of stairs, but the stay helped us with our suitcases when we got there and when we departed. Highly recommended."
