Hotel Sui Akasaka Byabest

"This was a fantastic hotel. My only knock is that the room was small, but that is to be expected in hotels in Japan at this price point. The staff at the front were so helpful and welcoming. The hotel offers free shaved ice, free alcoholic beverages, and free ramen at different times during the afternoon/evening which is awesome. There is also free coffee and tea in the lobby. The people there were so friendly and the hotel feels like there is a very "cool" atmosphere. The rooftop patio is also very nice. The hotel is located close to two major subway stations and there is a convenient 7-Eleven right beside the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan."

"Me and a friend stayed here in May 2025 and we were more than satisfied with everything about it! We used Booking.com and booked a high floor twin room for 9 days and 8 nights for a very good price. The staff were very friendly and spoke English, so communication was not an issue. If we had a question they would immediately have an answer and helped out with whatever we needed. Easy check in, easy entry, there’s a 7/11 right around the corner, multiple train line access within a five-ten minute walk, plenty of food spots nearby, and it’s in a quiet nicer upscale neighborhood of Tokyo so there are very little people out and about. The only downside I would say is that we were on the 12th floor and the sunrise in the morning shines straight through the window (sunrise is around 4:30 am) and through the curtains so the room is immediately lit up with sunlight. On that floor, blackout curtains or a blanket are necessary if you plan to sleep a bit later/get better sleep if light is an issue. The staff provided us with a blanket that we were able to use to block the window which helped us so much. If I have another trip to Japan, this will for sure be on my list of places to stay again. "We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2025 and it was a great little place. The room was pretty small but we were prepared for that. The room was clean and great for us because we spent most of our time exploring the city. The best parts were the rooftop patio and the staff. The staff were super nice and helpful. It’s a good location, a couple blocks from a train station and not too long of walk to some places. They have some amenities we didn’t really take advantage of but are great. The only thing we didn’t love was the breakfast in the morning. Great find and a good place to make home base if you’re visiting Tokyo."
