"Kind staffs. One of them are fluently speaking English.\n\nI think I got what they called Western-styled bedroom. It got two beds, which makes the room quite small. But I don't really care about the spaces since all I did in here is sleeping and when I woke up I back looking around Japan, lol.\n\nIt also has a private bathroom. Small, but I think it's still okay. There's a shower, bathtub, normal toilet (not the one with front flush or something like that) and there's also shampoo (no conditioner) and soap. Also there's free toothbrushes and razors.\n\nThey'll also ask you if you want your room to be cleaned if you're going out."

"It's difficult for me to be objective when my stay was made excellent by so many different things, but I'll try.\n\nThe staff speak enough English to help you settle in. Their attitude towards foreigners is also really nice. You can't expect to have an in-depth conversation about movies, but you can expect to be treated with respect and valued as a guest. You will not be made to feel stupid for not knowing the language.\n\nThere are many different kinds of room. I had a single room on the top floor, with a shared restroom. The toilet is the kind where you have to squat down over it. You can take a quick trip to the 24/7 Don Quijote just down the street if you absolutely must use western-style toilets.\n\nThe room size is very generous for a single guest. You have space to walk, sleep and store your stuff. I was very tempted to invite some friends over to play videogames, but it is important to note that non-staying guests are explicitly prohibited. There's a few little extras, like a decent working TV, complementary green tea, and disposable toiletries. The futon is comfortable, and the bedding is very warm in winter (turn off the heater when you go to sleep or you'll wake up covered in sweat).\n\nWhen you go out, you leave the key at reception, and you just quote your room number when you return. Reception is open 24/7, so you can stay out into the early hours of the morning with no issues. If you go out before 2PM, the staff ask if you'd like your room cleaned. This includes replacing the futon with a clean one, sweeping up and taking out the trash.\n\nOn the negative side, there was some kind of heating apparatus either inside the wall or below the floorboard. It makes sound constantly and there's no way to turn it off, but it didn't bother me too much and I often forgot it was there.\n\nThe wifi is pretty good, with an access point on each floor. No issues streaming video and voice calling family.\n\nThe location is without a doubt absolutely flawless. It's in Asakusa, but JUST outside the range of the real tourism crowds. It's next to a shopping district named Hisago St. which has a very comfy atmosphere. For supplies, there's a FamilyMart close-by. There are vending machines everywhere, including some on the ground floor of the hotel which have tasty and refreshing drinks, and also instant noodles.\n\nIf you're confident enough to eat at local businesses, you really should. There are many small restaurants and food stands all over the Asakusa area and everything you can get is delicious. If you struggle with Japanese, you can walk a short distance to get to a street that has Yoshinoya, Katsuya, Sukiya and Curry wa Nomimono, all of which have pictures and English dish names.\n\nI'm a fan of games, anime and otaku culture, so I spent a lot of my time out in Akihabara. To get there, it's two stops west on the Tsukuba Express, for which the station is actually the closest one to the hotel. From Akihabara, you also have access to the Yamanote line, which goes to most of the major stations in central Tokyo.\n\nThe big temple Senso-ji is close by, so I'd definitely suggest checking it out with the associated tourist attractions. Just south of the temple is where you'll find the confusing cluster of buildings and tunnels referred to as Asakusa Station. Lines are spread out among three different companies and it's hard to walk between them. I suggest avoiding it and going via Akihabara if your destination is in central Tokyo. The Tobu Skytree line is worth paying attention to though, as you can use it to travel to and from the Tokyo Skytree, which is only a few stops away (and an incredible experience). It also gives you access to the Keisei Main Line for travel to and from Narita Airport. This can be faster than the Narita Express if you switch to the Narita Sky Access line.\n\nI will be staying here again, without a doubt. The room I had was REALLY good for the price, and returning to it every night made me feel like I was home."
