"Part short term and part long stay.\n\nThe rooms are dated, but clean, even if some of the staining on the walls appears to say otherwise.\n\nI’d stay here again. The staff was so kind and helpful. It is in a great location to travel the city.\n\nThe Lawson across the street was a godsend. The lobby downstairs in the second section of the hotel was great.\n\nThere’s good security and a lovely park outside."

"My fiancée and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, and it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had; especially in Japan, where service and hospitality are usually exceptional.\n\nFrom day one, we were dealing with constant noise and chaos caused by a group of young soccer players staying in the hotel. They were running through the halls, yelling back and forth, banging on doors, and creating a constant disturbance. Our room was unfortunately located right beside the stairwell, so we heard them sprinting up and down the stairs and slamming doors late into the night, often from 10 PM until 1 AM.\n\nWe made a complaint to the front desk on the first night, but absolutely nothing changed. We complained again the following day, and still, no action was taken. One of the staff even witnessed the kids yelling inside the elevator and simply shushed them instead of addressing the issue properly. Their coaches and caretakers were equally ineffective. At one point, a coach was yelling down the hallway in the morning trying to get the kids out of their rooms, and we had to ask them directly to stop shouting.\n\nTo make matters worse, we stayed for 10 nights and were never offered fresh towels or basic cleaning services unless we paid an extra fee. That level of service might be expected at a budget hostel, but certainly not at a hotel charging these rates.\n\nAdding to the disappointment, the front desk staff were indifferent and lacked the typical warm hospitality we’ve always experienced in Japan. We were never greeted coming in or going out, which felt strange and unwelcoming.\n\nIf you’re looking for a place to actually rest and enjoy your stay, this is not it. Between the sleepless nights, lack of basic services, and poor management of guest behavior, we would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone"

"This hotel is negligent and your belongings are not safe here. I came to Tokyo to visit an embassy and left my most precious documents in the room when I checked out - a passport, birth certificate and marriage certificate.\n\nThe staff somehow managed to throw them in the trash (they were all in one envelope) and were not in the least bit helpful in assisting me to recover them. This stay has cost me more than just financially - a truly awful establishment which you should avoid at all costs."
