"Room reeks of cigarettes. When asked if we could get another room, they recommended we use the air freshener in the room. The bidet also does not work and the handle to open the window is broken off."

"i had my Shinkansen tickets pre-arrange to post here, notified hotel on agoda.\n\nwhen i ask the nepalese lady (tied long hair), she rudely turn me off and say they don't help buy tickets.\n\ni ask her if she can understand english, she say little, i told her my tickets are arranged and posted here, she told me off again said no such letter received. basically she ask me to get lost with a smile.\n\nas the tickets is more than her salary i stood my ground, i look over the counter and saw a white envelope as i did same arrangement with comfort hotel, they were very helpful so i can recognise the envelope. i ask her if that is the ticket. she pick up and she was surprise.\n\nLOL!\n\nmy question is, is this how LIVEMAX treat their customers?\n\nTHIS TYPE OF GAIJIN FOREIGN STAFF NEED TO BE PUNISHED AND THEY DON'T DESERVED A JOB IN JAPAN SOCIETY!\n\nside note, great friendly nepalese guy who did my room cleaning he was patient and greeted us with a smile.\n\ni bow back whenever i meet him during my stay."

"I do not recommend anyone traveling booking here. We just needed one night before flying out the next day.\n\nTerrible front staff service, no one to greet you. The staff is constantly talking in the back or on their phone. The rooms were dusty, dust covered the light fixture in the washroom, mildew on the shower curtains, water marks in the closet, one of the bath towels had yellow stains on it, and the slippers looked reused and worn in. When asking for our shipped luggage, they just pointed over to the storage area and told us to look for it ourselves. The issue isn't looking for it ourselves, but the fact that they didn't cross reference to ensure that was our baggage. We just took it. When our luggage was looked after, a single string was tied to one of our 4 luggages. When grabbing our luggage to leave. We couldn't get a hold of anyone, but heard people talking in the back. I just took our luggages and dropped off the tags and left.\n\nPaid ~$104 (CAD), pay the extra $50 for your comfort."
