★★☆☆☆
"Well located, 10 minutes from Shinjuku Station.\nThe furniture and decor look a bit cheap, and the room was dusty. There isn’t really a comfortable place to relax within the hotel.\nThe bathroom is nice and spacious, but the bedroom is quite small.\nThe breakfast area is in the basement and has a slight unpleasant smell. The breakfast itself is quite basic, with limited options, and the coffee, tea, and juices are from low-cost brands."

"The hotel's services are not at fault, but I'm writing this for tourists who might consider staying here.\n\nThis is an area with poor public safety that Japanese people tend to avoid.\n\nThe hotel is located next to a love hotel, which is an establishment where people go for a few hours for sex, such as unmarried couples living with their parents or people having affairs. The surrounding area is where drunk people vomit and litter. When I walked by, a heavily intoxicated host and a woman who likely spent millions of yen on him were staggering and bumping into a utility pole together.\n\nThis is a troublesome area with sex workers lingering around. The neighborhood is full of shabby bars and "muryou annaijo" (free information centers) that arrange sexual services. You can often see people who are having financial difficulties passed out on the street.\n\nOnly those who are willing to weigh the risks of poor public safety, location, and the cost should challenge themselves to stay here."

"The room is a decent size for Tokyo and the location is fantastic. The only negative is that the breakfast buffet is not very good, so even though I paid for breakfast for my entire 3 night stay I only ate there once. I would skip the breakfast option as there are so many better options right outside the hotel door."
