"We had the most lovely time! This was our first time in Japan and our welcome couldn't have been better.\n\nThe crew all speak English, are very friendly and constantly helping you out.\n\nThe rooms are big, for Japanese hostel/inn standards! There's great airconditioning, a small but elaborate bathroom/toilet and a Japanese washing room upstairs. I have tattoos and can't enter most bath houses, so this was a great way to experience the traditional way of bathing and relaxing.\n\nThere is complimentary tea and you're free to use the downstairs kitchen with all that comes with (microwave, fridge etc).\n\nThere are plenty places to buy food in the neighborhood, but there's also a vending machine downstairs where you can get drinks. It's 100 yen so the cheapest you can get!\n\nThe neighborhood is lovely and makes for wonderful evening walks.\n\nPublic transportation is reached easily! You're everywhere in Tokyo within two hours.\n\nThe next time we visit Japan we will also want stay here :)"

"Japan's best kept secret! I have family in Japan so I visit at least two times a year sometimes more. I have stayed in numerous hotels and this is by far the best. It is family owned and they treat you like family. It is perfectly located in a quite town that's only one train stop from the big cities. You will absolutely fall in love with this place. If you have large groups or your just solo, this is the place for you. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with anything you need. They speak very good English. I won't stay anywhere else because there isn't any place that even comes close to the Family Inn Saiko!!!"

"Quite amazing. Very family friendly in a quiet neighbourhood off the beaten path. If you want party hard Tokyo, it may not be for you with location, but several lovely parks around , so if you want something family friendly within an easy walk of Ikebukuro, I would highly recommend this place. Very personal welcome, nice and clean rooms. Basic breakfast (tea, coffee, toast with spreads etc). All in, a lovely place to stay!"
