"Great central location near a lot of shops, food, and train lines.\nNow, the downsides. I’m aware of small hotel rooms in Japan, so that wasn’t the issue because I’m small, but beware these rooms were cruise ship cabin sized, extra small. And I’m talking single full bed with enough walking room to squeeze around the bed and that’s it. I’m 5’1 and 100lbs and was banging my knees and elbows and head on everything in the bathroom.\n\nMy biggest issue is the “non-smoking rooms” reek of cigarettes and I could smell fresh cigarette smoke coming through the CLOSED window or ventilation almost all night long. Cigarette holes in the bathroom and furniture. Hotel amenities lack severely for the price. Near a hospital, so VERY LOUD ambulances go by all night long, luckily I brought a fan to drown out sounds. Water pressure in the bathroom was basically non-existent and broken equipment. Rooms were reasonably clean, but looked like there was an old dried C*M stain on the drapes that they didn’t even try cleaning.\n\nI highly recommend staying at any of the nearby APA hotels instead. VERY SIMILAR pricing from what I noticed and WAY nicer rooms, size wise&cleanliness, and amenities and services for the cost. Best of luck."

"The rooms are so tiny, we booked 2 rooms, one for us and one for our teenage children. The curtains had mould, the toilet seat wasn't attached to the bowl, "the fridge" froze all our drinks, the door to the room didn't shut properly, the pillows were rock hard, the hotel is positioned near a hospital and fire dept so you hear the sirens all day and night, the cups for tea was cracked, the shower curtains were disgusting, the shower is so small we kept hitting the wall and banging into things while in the shower. At least the air conditioning worked and the location is good."

"So let me tell you that this hotel is situated by a hospital, police station, and fire department within a block or two of each other. You will hear sirens all night long.\n\nRoom is small, but clean. Washroom is also small. Don't expect much space overall as the rooms are small - hence the lower price per night. Staff was great. There is also a washer and dryer on floor 3 & 4. The dryer doesn't do a great job of drying clothes even after paying for two 30min cycles."
