"I enjoyed having this hotel as a “home base” for my stay in Tokyo. It was super close to the train station making getting around very easy. The area also had a lot of restaurants and shops for those looking for things to do in the area.\n\nCheck in and out was easy, they had luggage storage before and after my stay (though I only used the check out luggage storage), and the front desk staff were helpful and almost always greeted me as I came and went.\n\nA couple things I found slightly inconvenient but not enough to drop my rating:\n1. I booked on hotel.com and chose this hotel partially for the laundry service. I mistook this to mean there were laundry machines available, not that you could submit articles of clothing to be washed. Almost certainly my fault, and there was a coin laundry about a 3-5 minute walk down the street.\n2. The of the two elevators, only one goes to the ground floor. The other stops at the second floor where the reception desk is. Not really an issue as there are a short flight of spiral stairs and an escalator (which runs either up or down depending on the time of day, but is closed at night).\n3. For better or worse, the hotel mandates cleaning of the rooms every three days. This was mainly inconvenient as I felt my room was not in need of cleaning (and could therefore save the resources) but also I felt I should tidy up before house cleaning came in 😅.\n\nOverall, I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel and other than the few quirks, found it to be a fantastic deal in a convenient location."

"This hotel is very closed to Ikebukuro station. (Exit 22) and the room is quite spacious (we booked the twin room) and tidy. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. We were offered hand towels (even without asking) on seeing us getting soaked from the rain during check-in. Much appreciate for the kind gesture to that lovely lady that serve us that evening.\nMany shops and eateries around that area, so it was quite safe as there are still many people walking past in the evening.\nOur stay includes buffet breakfast, which includes simple continental and Japanese food. There is not much a variety for the breakfast but it was simple and delicious.\nSimple and nice hotel."

"We booked this hotel months before for executive twin room. Old hotel but it was enough for my family (one children). My room was spacious, 24m2, pijamas, air purifier, mini fridge, hair dryer and electrical kettle available. The bed was fit for two and comfortable. Their standard procedure to clean the room once for every 3 days but they cleaning my room daily as we requested. It was connected to family mart in the ground floor but unfortunately no laundry machine available. This hotel has super strategic location for our itinerary for mount fuji (willer bus pick up point in ikebukuro station east exit) and other deatination since it was only 3 to 5 minutes walk to ikebukuto train station. You could easily just walking to parco, seibu, bic camera, don quijote, matsumoto kiyoshi and of course ikebukuro's most famous place, sunshine city mall. Everything inside, we buy pokemon card for my son, there.\nI recommend you to go to sunshine 60th observatory tenbou park. 900 yen for adult and 600 for children in the weekends."
