Comfort Inn Tokyo Roppongi

"Location was great in the heart of Roppongi, close to Hibiya & Oedo line, exit 5 is the closest to the hotel lobby. You will have to carry your bags up about three flights when taking exit 5 or take the elevator up to street level somewhere further south. Family mart will be on your right hand side, go straight downhill & arrive at hotel main door. The sign is on the building that you can see coming from the subway.\n\nTip: Rooms vary widely in size. Rooms x10 (210,310,410..910) are the largest. Room numbers x06,x07,x08,x09 (206,207...) are next and the rest are just big enough to maybe change your mind. I do not know if there is a way to reserve a specific room number however.\n\nTwin beds were comfortable but the mattress tended to walk off the box springs.\n\nOur room was quiet being on the alley side\n\nTo be aware of:\n1 limited Tv channels no English programs - we didn't use\n2 Windows do not open due to security concerns\n3 Air conditioning is controlled by the hotel (heat/cool) , you can only turn off/on but heaters and extra blankets available from the front desk.\n4 Remember to step up into the bathroom typical for Japan rooms.\n5 Fridge was small & it worked great.\n6 Great water pressure and plenty of hot water\n\nOn floor 2, there is an ice machine & laundry room ¥400 wash & ¥100 dry. Two sets of machines available.\nFree coffee available 7-10am\n\nBreakfast available for a charge next door at the Thai restaurant\n\nWifi worked great."

"Overall the hotel isn't the worst I've ever seen but it must be noted that the quality of life is not so good if you're more than one person staying for more than one night.\nThe rooms (even for couples) are way too small and with ventilation so poor that it felt hard to breathe sometimes (THE WINDOWS CANNOT BE OPENED!) and the services offered are too basic to compensate such a lack.\nI even asked the receptionist to help me call a taxi upon checkout and they told me "they do not do such a thing", like... wtf?! That's a service that literally every other hotel I've stayed at in my life considered as granted!\nIf you're a lone traveller looking for something quick for one night this is a good one because the location is a perk, but other than that you can find better options anywhere else around Tokyo."

There are escalator？available, you need to cross street go to hotel.\n\nFamily room’s space was great, bed was comfortable, down side were1.) limited Tv channel, no English program 2) can’t open windows due to security concerns 3) air conditioning was control by hotel (heat/cool) , you can only turn off/on, 4) bathroom was not super clean but okay, 5) fridge was small like cube, it works fine.\n\nThere are ice machine, laundry room at 2F, free coffee available 7-10am , 2-12pm .\n\nRecommend stay, convenience location, 7-11 , Family mart, 24hours Donki was near by."
