"Awful Experience – Unsafe for Elderly Guests, Rude Staff, and Run-Down Rooms! Stayed: 2 nights\n\nWe arrived at night for our 2-night stay, expecting a peaceful and comfortable holiday with our group of elderly travelers. Unfortunately, this hotel turned out to be a complete disappointment from the very beginning.\n\nThere were no porters, no wheelchair ramps, and not a single slope for luggage or mobility assistance. We literally had to carry our suitcases down stairs, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel that should be welcoming all types of guests, including elderly individuals and those with disabilities. One of our elderly members (over 70 years old) actually fell down two steps due to dangerously camouflaged grey tiles at the entrance. It was a loud, painful fall—yet none of the staff came to help or even asked if she was okay. NO WARNING SIGN. NO EMPATHY. Absolutely NO REMORSE. So much for Japanese hospitality!\n\nThe nightmare continued the next morning during breakfast. We were celebrating a birthday and had even arranged with the hotel to store a cake in advance (which we appreciate, and thank the receptionist for). We sang a short birthday song—not loud or disruptive—but were still rudely told to be quiet. One kitchen staff member was particularly awful, refusing to refill the water on purpose, clearly out of laziness, even though we paid extra for the breakfast. Her reason for her to that was cause we places the filled water on the table (i guess we can’t even placed a filled water on a table, what a joke) None of us have ever been treated like this in any hotel before.\n\nAs for the room? Obnoxiously old and borderline creepy. The toilet was honestly scary to use—not clean and very outdated. One of the ceiling downlights was broken, a table lamp didn’t work, and there was a handprint smudge on the toilet mirror, which is just disturbing. The entire room felt neglected and unmaintained.\n\nThe only positives from this stay were the location and the fact that the receptionist helped store the birthday cake. That’s it.\n\nWould we stay here again? Absolutely not. If you’re traveling with elderly guests, have accessibility needs, or simply expect basic hospitality and cleanliness, avoid Chisun Hotel Kamata at all costs."

"Definitely fine for the price, although we were unfortunately quite uncomfortable due to the lack of ability to control AC. The AC selector on the bedside table just turns on heat unfortunately. I am someone who is very sensitive to heat and this made the stay pretty unpleasant. They gave us a small portable AC but it was too small to make any real difference. We slept with the window open but it did not help much and the loud express way right outside the window was quite loud. Otherwise fine, beds were comfortable, bathroom was large and clean, free toiletries and stuff. Unfortunately the non controllable AC is a theme in Japan and the heat in these hotels is hot and I mean hot. Our first hotel here we walked in and the room was 82 degrees Fahrenheit."

"I booked it online but didn't checked how far it is from airport but it's little far. Booked room for single person and it was a decent one. Had all amenities including kettle and free toiletries as well. I'm vegetarian so couldn't find much things in Breakfast. Oh and, they have Check-in time of 3 pm and i had to wait for hours so consider that."
