"(The only good thing is the location, the kind Japanese staff member who checked me in, and that there is a sento-style bath.)\n\nI decided to leave 1 star before I had even checked-in because of the extreme rudeness of a member of staff when I went to leave my luggage there. You are told to ring the bell or ring the phone number to leave your luggage, so I rang the bell. I waited about 1 minute and then someone came out and rudely spoke to me like they were talking to a petulant child before I had even spoken to them yet! The second time she said something rudely to me, I asked her "why are you being rude to me?" And she said "I'm just cleaning staff"? I don't see the correlation...? Also she didn't check my name or booking, so the luggage room is not really safe in my opinion. For 17000yen I think it's crazy that there are rude staff, check-in is only from 4pm and after check out you cannot leave your luggage or wait around. Also the side of the bed had clumps of dust and the hairdryer seemed to have some electrical spark malfunction that didn't seem safe...\nI don't recommend it."

"Stayed for 1 night at this capsule hotel and it had everything I needed. The public bath is nice and since the hotel is small, there is a good chance you won't run into anyone using it at the same time. However my room lock was broken and didn't lock during my stay."

"The beds/pods are standard. Comfortable enough and the staff are super helpful. The amenities were great. A hot communal bath, a dedicated area to get ready for the day, with everything you need and a lounge area. It's super close to public transport and attractions. Would have given 5 stars if bed and pillow was a bit more comfortable and the building is a bit tired."
