"A value for the money in Tokyo. I stayed one night. The cost was around US$85. The hotel was centrally located within walking distance of the Imperial Palace and government area. Right across the street from subway line, it was easy to get to. The hotel was clean with an inviting well decorated lobby.\n\nThe rooms were incredibly small, but very quiet and dark so I had a fantastic night sleep. I think perhaps it would’ve been too small for two people, but was good for a solo traveler. It was odd that there was no control for the heat or air-conditioning in the room.\n\nUnfortunately, check-in wasn’t until 3 PM and there was no flexibility for early check-in\nwithout an additional fee, which was very expensive ($40/hour). The lobby was filled with people who were just sitting waiting to check in after long overnight flights.\n\nYou couldn’t go above the first floor until you checked in so there was really no place to sit and relax. The restaurant was closed.\n\nSelf check-in was unusual, it seemed service was a secondary priority to affordable clean stay."

"I had a very frustrating experience at this hotel. I paid for breakfast but was unable to use it because the restaurant only opens at 7 AM, and I had to check out at that time. I politely asked the reception if they could make an exception and open a little earlier or provide a bento box to take with me. Unfortunately, they made no effort to accommodate my request.\n\nEven at lower-category hotels, the staff is usually more client-oriented and willing to find solutions, but here, it felt like they simply did not care. A small gesture of flexibility would have made a big difference, but instead, I was left disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel to those who expect good service and customer care."

"Rating it a 4/5 because of not being able to control the temperature on the thermostat, but we can open the window to let some cold air in. The hotel was very clean and the room service was the best, would definitely book again!"
