"The capsule itself is a bit on the older side but quite spacious, more than I expected. The room is well ventilated so it didn’t smell much, which was nice. It was a bit warm at night but there is a tiny fan on the wall. I slept okay for the two nights I stayed there, but you can expect to hear snores during your stay. The facility has no private shower booths but a nice public bath facility with a hot tub and sauna, which I really enjoyed. They provide lounge wear and towels like most other Japanese hotels do. They also provide free luggage storage, free drinks and alcohol, rice and curry which is all very nice. I booked it last minute so the price isn’t the best, otherwise it would be a great place for those looking for a short stay in the area."

"My buddy and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the start of our vacation. I loved this capsule hotel. Beds are very soft, but I wish the blanket was a little longer. You will need ear plugs or headphones unless you're a heavy sleeper because people come in and out. Staff do everything in their power to help you with information or requests. The bath is HOT and a great way to unwind after a long day. The mist sauna feels like you're walking on the sun's surface and inhaling napalm, but it is very relaxing.\n\nThe location is in the heart of Akihabara Electric town, with all necessities like 7-ELEVEn nearby.\n\nThe hotel bath is tattoo friendly IF you are a foreigner. Locals are required to cover their tattoos before entering the bathing area.\n\nThe unlimited miso soup and the breakfast curry with rice are delicious, the ramen on the other hand, I would avoid.\n\nAll in all, a great place to lay your head."

"Alright a few things, this hotel is NOT for those travelling with a lot of luggage. It's a capsule hotel after all. Also in general, Anshin Oyado Chains to my knowledge are gender segregated (Akihabara's male-only), so if you are travelling with a female partner, might not be the best choice.\n\nThat said, this is easily the best capsule hotel chain that I stayed in. With a nice sento(artificial onsen) + sauna.\n\nIt also has free flow drinks all day and a huge choice of free alcohol to choose from( from white wine to Japanese sake or whiskey). It's limited to 5 cups per person though, though I think if you drink anymore than that you will be knocked out until next week.\n\nIt's definitely THE choice of stay for light travellers. It's also strategically located at Akihabara(about 3 mins walk), which is definitely a good spot to see Kanda, Jimboncho and other places.\n\nMy 3rd time staying and I am still loving the experience!\n\nStayed in Aug 2023, Aug 2024, Jul 2025. Information accurate as of Jul 2025."
