"Repeated bad guests behavior: Some asian-speaking, non-Japanese male tourists are not respecting capsule/hostel etiquette: —especially at night— talking loudly, casually laughing, having phone calls, bringing luggage in the sleeping area. Unfortunately the whole concept if the dormitory rest on *relative normal silence* and only one guest can ruin your sleep, and everyone else’s too. A floor has approximately 40 pods. Price is not the point. Unfortunately property management is not answering. So relieved to be checked-out!"

"Obviously you get what you pay for with a capsule hotel. They're cheap for a reason, but it served its purpose for me as a solo traveler.\n\nIf you are a light sleeper or if noises bother you easily, you will definitely need ear plugs, and they might not even be enough to stop the sound from people snoring near you.\nAs someone who is not Japanese, it took some getting used to to figure out the order of operations as far as when I needed to put my slippers on, and I kept forgetting them.\nPersonally I did not get too hot, but that's basically because I didn't cover most of myself with the blanket. I wish it was about 2°F colder in the capsule room. Granted, this was in the middle of summer.\nAs far as I remember, there was no electrical outlet in the capsule, only USB.\nHaving the coffee shop right downstairs was kind of nice."
