Quality in Rome

"We booked our stay in the guesthouse by booking, we did not receive a password for the main door and we stayed there for like fifteen minutes until another came and opened the main door.\nThe room was spacious in general but you can smell the humidity there.The elevlator of the building is very old and some visitors were stuck in it on our first day there."

Spacious room, comfortable bed, memory foam pillows, double glazing, central heating, air conditioning, safe, fridge, kettle, tea, coffee. 1.5L water bottle in the room on arrival. Room is clean, towels changed every day. WiFi great. Location is very central: 10 min walk to Coliseum, 10 min walk to Trevi Fountain, 15 min walk to Termini train station.\nLift to second floor, very beautiful antique.\nStaff is extremely friendly and speak English. Check in, check out fast and easy. They offer to keep your luggage after check out."

"The location is super central located and that's it. A hostel ambiente for expensive prices. When cleanliness is an indicator for you to book a stay, then I do NOT recommend "Quality in Rome". The name is a joke! The pictures on booking & co are very old and obviously from the time of the opening!\nThe furnitures are old, dusty, the walls are full of stains, the bathroom is dirty and dusty with stains on and under the toilet seat as well, calcification everywhere in shower and the sink - so you can clearly see that the rooms haven't seen a proper cleanse for a loooong long time! I was disgusted I cleaned the toilet seat with wet cleaning wipes! The pillows are old and stinky! Under the pillowcase you see the yellow sweat spots on the pillow. Absolutely disgusting! Vacuuming and dry wiping over the surfaces is the only cleanse which takes place between guest changes. This is ridiculous!\nAbsolutely brazen offering paying customers such a condition of rooms under the name "Quality in Rome - luxury guest house". This is more a youth hostel and a pure customer rip off! I am truly wondering how the good recommendations got collected. Believe the negative ones! And let me tell you, I am not a picky person! Proper cleanliness and standard comfort is a what I expect.\nHis reaction to a professional and honest review on booking, which still has been totally understatement to the truth - was unprofessionell, emotional and even RUDE in the end, so here was my detailed review."
