"Check-in was smooth. We met Rita, a super friendly lady who helped us out at check-in. Turns out she’s been to Malaysia for work, so we had a little bonding moment there. She gave us a cold towel and some water like she could read our minds.\n\nAnd then some guy suddenly wheeled our luggage away...to the room, and then Rita personally walked us there and gave us the full tour. "Here’s your bathroom, here’s your bed, don’t touch that, or you’ll break it.” Just kidding, she was super helpful.\n\nWe got a complimentary afternoon tea, which was a nice surprise. Again, she read our minds. But we were actually starving, so we hit up room service and ordered a burger and a pesto, both tasted really good. Or maybe we were just ravenous.\n\nBreakfast in the room was OK (we had the indonesian combo), but heads up, there was no tray. So if you were dreaming of that Instagrammy floating breakfast in the pool.... Nope. Not happening. Speaking of the private pool, I couldn’t even swim without feeling like my skin was being bleached. It was like swimming in a chlorine soup. Not ideal unless you’re trying to disinfect your entire body. So we ended up not using the pool in our room. Well at least it looked good in our pics though.\n\nAlso, we had a hand bidet situation. Yeah… it needs remedy. The thing’s so clogged it shoots water like it hates us (see photo). Not exactly the kind of pressure you want near your sensitive areas down under.\n\nThat said, the room is gorgeous. It gave total villa vibes. And when the sunlight hits just right,...we loved it.\n\nDefinitely worth checking out. Just maybe approach the bidet with caution and tell the hotel staff to go easy with the chlorine."

"Overall I will rate as 5 star as it good with the price for early booking.\n\nRoom: great aspect and colour tone. However, the design placing between washroom and basin is far apart.\n\nService: is great, respond is fast\n\nLocation: view is just okay as there is no much natural view surrounding the stay and they are still expending so there is construction around."

"We stayed there one night. There was their own construction going on 9AM-5PM and it was not informed in advance, only when we arrived to the room was a paper note. Other construction also going on in neighbour.. ? They started at 7AM..🥲\nThe Saren hotel design and spacious feeling is cool but it still felt a bit odd - like how the bathroom/toilet is in the same room as the bed so literally not that much privacy, the tapwater sink location is next the bathtub and toilet another side so need to parkour over the bathtub or walk around the bed between of these. There was also a sus statue on table facing the bed..👀 nice pictures from the pool and amenities in room are nice, we loved the bathrobe and slippers!"
