"The swimming pool is huge and the outdoor terrace is absolutely beautiful. The Kampung China villa is built in traditional Javanese style, entirely made of wood, which gives it a very historical and atmospheric feel. While it is undoubtedly charming and unique, the interior is quite dark, which may not appeal to everyone.\nPersonally, I loved the villa, especially the outdoor spaces, and it was perfect for our two-day stay. However, for a longer stay, I might find the interior too dark for my taste. That said, this is just a matter of personal preference, the villa itself, along with the pool and terrace, is truly stunning."

"We were here for 6 nights. The staff was super friendly and the location is amazing, albeit a little more remote from all the shops and bars in Amed, but walkable. The complex is small and very private. It has a big offset from the main road, so you never hear the traffic. The garden is like a paradise, the private pool is right on the beach and the huts' Balinese traditional architecture is beautiful. There is also a private,\nlarge, comfortable roofed living / dining area which we used everyday. The open-air bathroom is also very charming. The lighting from ceiling lights and lamps could be better and the bed was a bit too hard for me, but I got used to it after the first night. Overall, the complex is well maintained and clean. I will definitely come back next time I visit Amed! Strongly recommend!"

"Huge historical wooden Chinese house. It is really special. The old wooden surfaces are just incredible. Although the rooms are a bit dark inside, there is no glass in the windows - just wooden grills. We had to keep them shut during the day to prevent heat from outside entering the rooms while running AC.\nBut overall it was an amazing villa. Excellent pool. Beach access with a good snorkelling site just to the left of the property."
