"There’s a lot to love about Ohana’s, however unfortunately, some key letdowns make it fall short of the experience it’s marketed to be.\n\nThe location is unbeatable - right on a stunning beach strip with uninterrupted views. The accommodation is bright, modern, and surrounded by lush gardens. The resort offers two pools, friendly and accommodating staff, and quality food and drinks (though the pricing is on the higher side to comparable experiences/quality on the island).\n\nThe major drawback is the beach club being fully open to the public with no minimum spend. While inclusive in theory, this setup significantly impacts the experience for paying hotel guests. The space becomes overrun with large groups of day-tripping families, many of whom treat it as a free-for-all with little regard for others. The pool is crowded with unsupervised children; many still at nappy wearing age - screaming, crying, and jumping on fellow guests. Although there are signs requesting supervision and noise reduction, staff do not enforce any of these guidelines and are reluctant to act upon guest feedback.\n\nAesthetic-wise, the vibe suffers too. Day guests often drape sarongs and BYO towels over cabanas, creating a makeshift, hostel-like feel that doesn’t match the branding or price tag. When I raised this with the manager and asked if they’d like such images posted online, he declined — which speaks volumes.\n\nI genuinely enjoyed most aspects of my stay, but I hope Ohana’s takes feedback like this on board. There’s great potential here, but more thought needs to go into balancing public access with the comfort and expectations of in-house guests."

"Great food and quality service! Best cocktails I’ve had on our trip! Tika served us and she was helpful and friendly. We missed the sunset but this place has great vibes, and we’re glad we came. Recommend the pork belly starter and the island pesto with chicken to eat and the spicy island martini to drink!"

"Did not stay at the location. My group and I only had food with drinks there. It was an absolute amazing experience with the food, drinks and ice cream. I would like to point out the exceptional service by our server Steven. He was a very nice, funny and amazing host to us. We really do hope to see him and all the other hosts when we visit again. Steven!! Steven!! Steven!!"
