"We visited and had lunch.\n\nWe asked for medium rare steak, and the chef clearly didn't know how to cook steak...it was chewy, and the pan was not hot enough.\n\nThey put lots of sugar in the salad dressing, too! 🥗\n\nThe staff weren't attentive or caring.\n\nThe location of the room and restaurants are great. Right next to the ocean. The view looks great."

"I stayed at Tulamben Oceanview for 5 nights for a scuba diving trip around the area, and I must say it was one of the best dive resorts I’ve stayed at. The location is perfect—right on the beachfront with direct access to dive spots, including the famous Liberty Wreck which is just a short distance away. I stayed in a spacious deluxe room that was clean and well-maintained, with strong air conditioning and daily supplies of bottled Aqua water and plenty of towels.\n\nThe resort also has an on-site restaurant with good food, though I wish there were more local options on the menu—understandably, it's tailored more to international guests. Overall, it’s an ideal place for divers looking for comfort, convenience, and great access to Tulamben’s underwater treasures. Highly recommended!"

If you’re a diver or just love being close to the ocean, this place is a hidden gem in Bali.\n\nDiving:\nThe highlight of my stay was, without a doubt, the diving. The resort’s dive center is extremely well-run and professional, with experienced dive guides who know the sites inside and out. It’s just a few steps away from the famous USAT Liberty wreck, which made early morning dives super convenient. Their equipment is well maintained, and the dive briefings were clear and safety focused. As a diver, it was amazing to have everything so streamlined I could just focus on enjoying the underwater world.\n\nLocation & Views:\nAs the name suggests, the ocean view here is breathtaking. I stayed in a sea facing room, and waking up to the sound of waves and sunrise over the water was incredible. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully maintained, with a mix of tropical plants and quiet lounging areas. It’s the perfect setting to unwind after a dive.\n\nRooms & Facilities:\nThe room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with thoughtful amenities everything I needed during a dive trip. The aircon worked well, the shower had good pressure, and I appreciated the daily room service.\n\nStaff & Service:\nThe staff were always kind, helpful, and genuinely warm. They made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Whether it was helping with dive logistics, arranging transport, or simply offering a friendly smile, their hospitality really stood out.\n\nFood:\nThe onsite restaurant had a solid menu with both local and Western options. Post-dive meals were satisfying, and the oceanfront dining area gave every meal a relaxing, scenic vibe.\n\nFinal Thoughts:\nOcean View Tulamben truly lives up to its name and exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the kind of place where you can dive, relax, and reconnect with nature all in one spot.
