"The location is ideal—within walking distance of many major attractions. The room was spacious, and the terrace was absolutely amazing. The bed was on the firmer side, but still comfortable. Julius and Olga took excellent care of us; when our TV stopped working, they kindly offered a bottle of wine as a thoughtful gesture. While you can hear a bit of street noise, it’s no more than what you’d expect in a typical city apartment. Overall: Good stay, if you plan on exploring the city and enjoy walking!"

"Athens Version Luxury Suites more like Athens Version Hostel – A Complete Rip-Off. This place is a total scam, nothing “luxury” about it. Per their site, we booked a “superior room” at a “luxury hotel”. The room was so tiny you could barely move, our luggage took up what little floor space we had, and the bed felt like sleeping on a stack of plywood. The bathroom? A claustrophobic disaster—shower so small you had to reach outside to grab soap, spraying water all over the floor. Want hot water? Good luck flipping a sketchy circuit breaker switch in a panel and waiting twenty minutes for a measly one-hour supply. The AC was a joke, just a weak fan blowing warm air, and the curtains had holes, letting light pour in. Security? Non-existent. Our door was mysteriously unlocked twice while we were exploring the city, making us wonder if someone was sneaking in. Staff? Also non-existent. The receptionist(a tiny table underneath the spiral stair case)was never there, therefore no one to talk to, we only saw a cleaning lady as we were checking out. The only reason we got into the hotel was another guest opened the front door, gave us the code 2712 and then we had to text some random phone number we found in the lobby wall to even get into the room. Oh, and the cherry on top: the hotel’s twenty-five feet from a nightclub blasting bass until 2 AM, so don’t expect to sleep. This isn’t just a bad hotel; it’s a shady operation designed to fleece you. Save your money and avoid this dump at all costs.\n\nAddressing the “owners” comments. There was no one working at the reception desk while we were there, no one to complain to. What good would it have done to complain? You’re not going to fix the AC or make the music stop, you’re not going to make a comfortable mattress magically appear. Nowhere in the booking did it mention an “economy” room. An “economy” room would have been an upgrade… We did not have an issue at any of the other hotels we stayed at throughout our vacation, just this one. Definitely did not get what I paid for… I hate to tell you, you’re down to a 4.6 and even that is too high."

"Rooms aren't giant but they are comfortable. King size bed and one of the best views on Athens on top of the hotel. We hung out there and shared a dinner and a few bottles of wine."
